CREATING A STILL LIFE IN WATERCOLOUR

Watercolour painting can be very rewarding if learned the proper way. Painting in watercolours is a combination of using control and spontaneity. This course is geared towards beginners and those at an intermediate level. It is taught by Andrea, an internationally exhibited artist who studied painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna and whose passion is watercolour.

Throughout the course, Andrea will set up a number of exercises which introduce students to the watercolour technique - starting with a light sketch, students will learn the mixing of colours, applying washes and painting in layers.
